'Haunted Mirror' wins awards!

Wow! We'll be breaking out Aunt Ethel's sherry rations here in the Scissorcave later on - those lovely people at Stagger Indie on Cambridge105 have made 'Haunted Mirror' their 'Local Album of 2016', which was very nice of them.
This comes after coming number four in Dave Hammond's top 20 albums of 2016, and number five in Bob's Aural Delights 2016 roundup. It's very nice to be appreciated!
Big, big thanks to the aforementioned radio peeps for their continued support, and to all of you out there who have stuck with us!
Onwards, ever onwards!!
Love, THE SCISSORS

Happy new (tenth) year!

Been a while since the last post on here, sorry! But here we are, entering our tenth anniversary year of being The Scissors. We can happily announce that there will be releases this year!
The album, 'The Scissors Is The Haunted Mirror', which has been complete for a couple of months, will finally see the light of day - we'll announce details of which label has been kind enough to agree to release it for us (and when) shortly!
And there's another exciting project for a bit later in the year that we'll tell you about soon...
Once things are set in stone we'll get gig dates and radio appearances finalised and make some noise once more.
Thank you for your patience!
Love, THE SCISSORS
